The population declined slightly during the early 1990s, and then was relatively stable between 1996 and 2006, a result of some new dwellings being added to the area, but a decline in the average number of persons living in each dwelling.

A great suburb to live. So close to Perth City with very quiet, safe streets

Lovely well maintained parks and many new houses being built. Close to the Swan river too!!

Excellent shopping at Belmont forum and cinemas nearby and a developing cafe/restaurant area.

“Great suburb” reviewed by Zy

Really handy location and nice neighbours; safe and convenient suburb:)

“Plenty of parks and close to facilities” reviewed by Dan

good mix of people – young, old, professionals, families, Aussie and new to Oz. Good size blocks when buying older homes. Some lovely new homes already built and more coming although smaller land size for the new places. Plenty of facilites at Belmont forum (movies, restaurants and shopping). Convenient Highway access (Leach, Roe, Tonkin). Close to airport. Well maintained parks with kids play equipment.
